Game Rules & Guidelines

General Conduct

• Respect all players - Treat others as you would like to be treated. Harassment, discrimination, and toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
• No hate speech - Any form of hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, or nationality is strictly prohibited.
• Keep chat appropriate - Avoid excessive profanity, NSFW content, or discussions of illegal activities in public channels.
• English in public channels - Please use English in public chat channels so moderators can effectively monitor conversations.
• No spamming - Do not flood chat channels with repeated messages, excessive caps, or nonsensical content.

Fair Play

• No cheating or hacking - Using third-party software, exploits, or hacks to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
• No botting or automation - Automated gameplay using bots, macros, or similar tools is not allowed. You must be actively playing the game.
• No bug exploitation - If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to the staff instead of abusing it. Exploiting bugs for personal gain will result in punishment.
• No real-money trading (RMT) - Trading in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money is prohibited.
• One account per player - Multi-accounting to gain advantages is not allowed. You may have multiple characters on your single account.

Player vs Player (PvP)

• PvP is allowed - Combat between players is a core part of Ugaris. However, excessive griefing of new players is discouraged.
• No spawn camping - Repeatedly killing players at spawn points or in starter areas is considered harassment.
• Honor your agreements - If you make a deal with another player (truces, territory agreements, etc.), honor it or face social consequences.
• Karma system - Your actions affect your karma. Excessive unprovoked killing will result in karma penalties.

Account Security

• Protect your account - You are responsible for your account's security. Use a strong, unique password.
• No account sharing - Do not share your login credentials with anyone. Each account should have one owner.
• Staff will never ask for your password - Ugaris staff will never request your password. Report anyone claiming to be staff who asks for it.
• Report compromised accounts - If you believe your account has been compromised, contact staff immediately through Discord.

Clan Rules

• Appropriate clan names - Clan names must follow the same standards as character names - no offensive or inappropriate content.
• Clan leadership - Internal clan disputes are generally handled by the clan itself. Staff will only intervene in cases of rule violations.
• Spawner etiquette - Clan spawners are valuable resources. Respect spawner ownership and agreements between clans.

Punishments

Violations of these rules may result in:

• Warning - For minor first-time offenses
• Mute - Temporary or permanent chat restriction
• Temporary ban - Suspension from the game for a set period
• Permanent ban - Permanent removal from the game for severe or repeated violations

The severity of punishment depends on the nature of the offense, whether it's a repeat offense, and other factors at the discretion of the moderation team.

Appeals

These rules are subject to change. It is your responsibility to stay informed of current rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for violating them.
