By creating an account and entering the realm of Ugaris, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern your participation in our medieval online world, including character creation, gameplay, and community interaction. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not create an account or access the game.

2. Game License & Usage

Ugaris grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and play the game for personal entertainment purposes. You understand that:

• All characters, items, skills, and virtual assets remain property of Ugaris
• The game client and all related software are licensed, not sold
• You may not reverse engineer, modify, or distribute any part of the game
• Commercial use of the game or its assets is strictly prohibited
• Account sharing or selling is forbidden and will result in permanent suspension

3. Character & Account Ownership

Your Ugaris account and all associated characters, items, gold, and achievements are virtual property owned by Ugaris. You are granted the right to use and enjoy these virtual assets according to these terms. You agree to:

• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Not share your account with other players
• Not engage in real-money trading of virtual items or characters
• Accept responsibility for all activities performed under your account
• Report security breaches or unauthorised access immediately

4. Player Conduct & Community Rules

Ugaris is a community-driven medieval fantasy world. All players must adhere to our rules and regulations to maintain a positive gaming environment. Prohibited behaviours include:

• Cheating & Exploiting: Using bots, macros, exploits, or third-party software to gain unfair advantages
• Harassment & Abuse: Threatening, harassing, or abusing other players through any means
• Inappropriate Content: Sharing offensive, sexual, or inappropriate content in character names, messages, or descriptions
• Real-Money Trading: Buying, selling, or trading virtual items, characters, or currency for real money
• Spam & Disruption: Flooding chat channels, disrupting gameplay, or creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Impersonation: Pretending to be staff members, moderators, or other players

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination at our discretion.

5. Virtual Economy & Items

Ugaris features a virtual economy with in-game currency (gold), items, equipment, and other virtual assets. You understand that:

• All virtual items and currency have no real-world monetary value
• Virtual assets cannot be exchanged for real money outside the game
• We may modify, remove, or add virtual items and their properties at any time
• Character deletion or account termination results in permanent loss of all virtual assets
• We are not responsible for virtual item loss due to bugs, exploits, or player actions

6. Game Availability & Service

Ugaris is an online game that requires internet connectivity. We strive to maintain reliable service but cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted game availability or server uptime
• Freedom from bugs, glitches, or technical issues
• Compatibility with all hardware or software configurations
• Preservation of character data in case of technical failures

We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, and modifications that may temporarily interrupt service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within Ugaris — graphics, music, storylines, character designs, and game mechanics — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute game assets
• Create derivative works based on game content
• Use Ugaris intellectual property for commercial purposes
• Remove or modify copyright notices or trademarks

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By playing Ugaris, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ugaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including but not limited to:

• Loss of virtual items, characters, or progress
• Inability to access the game or website
• Interactions with other players
• Technical issues or data loss

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify players through in-game announcements or website notices. Continued use of Ugaris after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the game experience. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• All characters and virtual assets are permanently deleted
• Access to all game services is immediately revoked
• Personal data may be retained as required by law or our Privacy Policy
